 Marty Cohen, lead vocals and songwriter, and the Sidekicks ~ 

Ken Rabiroff, vocals, lead/bass guitar and Jeff Sears, vocals, bass/lead guitar ~ have established themselves as one of the premier acoustic groups in Northern California. Joined in 2019 by Tony Galioto on drums/percussion, the band continues to reach new audiences through live performances, CDs and downloads of their original  music. They were honored as winners in the Sacramento News and Review's annual Sammies awards in 2018. They also were chosen as Premier Showcase Artists at the FAR West 

Folk Alliance Conference in 2009.  

Since the pandemic hiatus, the band has returned to live performances with renewed enthusiasm. Over the years, they have performed at Sacramento's venerable Fox & Goose pub, the elegant Ettore's Bakery and Cafe, and many other great venues from the foothills (Nevada City and Auburn) to the coast (Benicia). They are proud to be selected as artists at the Sacramento County Holiday Music Series, performing for holiday travelers at Sacramento International Airport. Their first appearance there was featured in The Sacramento Bee!  

 The band's rich vocal harmonies and distinctive arrangements enhance Marty’s award-winning songs, and the group creates a sound that is an inspired blend of urban folk … with a pop twist.
